Relationship Counselling in Fareham For Couples & Individuals

Professional support for how you connect — in person in Fareham, or online across the UK.

When the person closest to you starts to feel far away

The same arguments keep coming round. Conversations turn tense, or stop altogether. You might feel lonely even when you are together, or unsure whether things can get back on track.

Relationship counselling gives you both a calm, neutral space to be heard. A counsellor in Fareham, or online, helps you understand what is really going on between you, break unhelpful patterns and decide what you want next. You can come as a couple, or on your own.

What we say, and what we mean

Many arguments are not really about the thing being argued about. Tap a card to see what is often underneath.

Counselling helps you both hear the need behind the words, so you can start answering that instead.

Together, or on your own

Relationship counselling is not only for couples in crisis. It can help at any stage, with any close relationship.

Questions about relationship counselling

A woman smiling at home, feeling settled
What if my partner will not come?
You can come on your own. Individual sessions help you understand your part in the pattern and what you need, and changes in one person often change the whole relationship.
Will the counsellor take sides?
No. Your counsellor stays neutral and makes sure you both feel heard. There are no rights or wrongs, just two points of view.
Can counselling help after an affair?
Yes. Counselling gives you space to work through the hurt, understand what happened and decide, together, whether and how to rebuild trust.
Is it only for couples who are about to split up?
Not at all. Many couples come to strengthen a good relationship, prepare for a big change, or sort out a problem before it grows.
How many sessions will we need?
Many couples notice a difference within six sessions, though it depends on what you are working on. Your counsellor will review things with you as you go.
Can we have couples counselling online?
Yes. Sessions can be by secure video at the same price as in person, which can make it easier to fit around work and family life. About online therapy.
How much does it cost?
Couples counselling is £90 a session, or £504 for six. Individual counselling starts from £72. Your first 15 minute call is free. See all our prices.
